I was thinking it was something like a new type of collison or impact tech...sorta like what they have in Fight Night...to create jarring hits...stuff like that.

Yea, I agree with you. I said in a post on Sportsgamer months back that I highly doubted EA would be using Natural Motion in this year's upcoming Madden, but PERHAPS '11. I do hope they're implementing some sort of system where things won't be repetitive and you know the outcome of the play before it's finished lol.

I hope so. I actually did PM Ian a while back in regards to implementing Procedural Awareness into the OL/DL interaction. That would be cool.

That would certainly make sense.

Boy I bet you guys at EA have a very interesting scrum board.

Would be nice if we could get a picture of those vague stories your business puts on the board for you and the tasks that go along with them.

As a developer, no matter how I feel about the game, I truly respect how you guys are bringing out this product. You are really being pushed by a very picky product owner ... us.

I hope if its Euphoria they give the offensive line the purpose of blocking...

I can see it now...

Offensive linemen that have a purpose and an idea to block and to make the play work... defensive linemen with purpose...

I feel Star Wars did not do it right.... show them how its done!!!!!

Does it have anything to do with animated accessories?

Perhaps it's similar to the hand to hand "combat" between a WR and DB that they just addressed, but for OL/DL. Having real "battles" between players by procedural shoving and tugging so that way the winner isn't only decided by ratings and a flip of a coin which determines a preset animation, but also by the actual position of their bodies, hands, etc. Similar to how PI calls will be called based on this jostling with DBs, maybe holding penalties could be enforced this way for lineman as well.

I could keep going on and on.
