Two things B4QB:

1.) I agree that this is ONE of the problems with the running game and FB dive. The anmation speed though IS a real issue and Ian was right. the QB makes a warp speed turn for the FB dive that he doesn't other wise and shuldn't otherwise make. That had to be fixed. The FB dive in real life has the advantage of the FB's proximity to the LOS, the surprise factor of the FB getting the ball, and the SIZE of the FB. When you take the natural advantages of a FB dive and add a sped up anmation, it becomes too strong. Add all of that with the issues you have, and now we have a BIG issue. What Ian has done with the animation and what the new update shows us about line interactions leads me to belive that we are in for more realistic plays. the FB dive will get you some yards, but it shouldn't get you 8 all that often.

2.) When you made that video, you should have tried using the Panthers adn substitute Mark Jones in as the FB and show him running for big yards? "Yes Ladies and gentalmen, Mark Jones."

P.S. Classic Madden line from Madden 04 and 05: "John Ritchy is one of those guys that when you need two yards, BOOM! He'll get you two yards. And when you need four yards, BOOM! He'll get you two yards." I laughed so hard everytime it played.

Berry Sanders had 1,114 yards gong backwards as of that video?!? wow. i knew he lost yards... but wow. In positive terms that is a whole season of rushing stats.
