Custom Soundtrack

I thought that it would be really cool if you could create your own custom soundtrack, What do you think?

You could kind of already have a custom soundtrack when you play games on your Xbox 360. I have music streaming from my computer to my xbox and I sometimes use it even when I'm playing Madden.

Yeah custom soundtracks would be cool, but I couldn't care less really.

NCAA nailed it with the ability to have music for certain situations. My Defense hit the field to 'Swagga Like Us'. When I scored I would try to time my celebration to my music.

It was a very nice addition and is why I want custom post-play celebrations so I can put chants or phrases in. Imagine adding a machine gun sound effect after a S. Merriman sack celebration.

MLB The Show has actually introduced a cool feature. You can record your own cheers, yells and chants for specific batters.

But I have to say, nice visions, but is pointless if it comes at a sacrifice to gameplay. Until that's right, I'll wait another 5 years for EVERYTHING ELSE.

Now this would be cool in Madden, espically if you can have certain songs at certain times during the game. We need this in Madden10.

The guys who work on gameplay also work on the sound of the game? I thought they had different departments for each part of the game that just work on that specific part..animators, artists, A.I. engineers, sound guys, etc. I doubt the guys who code for the gameplay also handle the sound dept. as well. So if they add this feature, the gameplay guys won't be tasked with it, the sound guys will. I could be wrong, but these are just my thoughts.

That's how I was doing it, but it'd be even cooler if I could rip the music onto my 360 and upload it onto my game as part of my custom soundtrack.
