Re: Implementing unpredictability

Simply put this would help keep the game fresh.

The day I see all of this in there I would probably play Madden year round. With a custom camera to see these in different angles would make that probably a definately.

Undecided, need to see how they would do it before I make a decision.

Re: Implementing unpredictability

I would love to see mistakes, errors, and unpredictable things happen.

Although, the unpredictable part needs to be an option that can be toggled on/off.

It just would not be right for people in Madden Nation or other ultra competitive situation to lose on something completely out of their hands. They would choose to play with unpredictable things off.

The game itself would be a heck of a lot more fun with the unpredictability on, and most people would choose to keep it in normal games and franchises.

This is a great concept.

Re: Implementing unpredictability

This would be very cool especially with the new thing about fighting for the ball under the pile up. Or running back to pick up a high snap and try to make a play.

I dont see any reason to not allow these things to happen in the 4th quarter though. Like they dont happen in the 4th quarter and OT, when the going gets tough some guys tighten up and make mistakes.

Someone needs to PM Ian with this to show the landslide victory for implementing something like this. And there should definitly be an option to turn it off.

94niners-

I agree, and would love to have these things happen throughout the entire game. Imo, most gamers would. But, as you see even in this thread...one or two guys don't like it and would be upset if this kind of thing costs them a few games.

The developers would not want users to have a bad experience, even if it can be turned off. So, in order to remove concerns for games being lost due to this aspect of gameplay...I suggest it occurs rarely in the 3rd qtr and not at all in the 4th qtr.

Again, I agree with you. I want this type of feature throughout my entire game from whistle to whistle. But, the out cry would be too great for EA to seriously consider doing something like this.

...so basically its comes down to a compromise. I'd rather have it in the early part of a game, and into the 3rd qtr...then to not have it at all. I'm sure the people who oppose this idea can live with having it only in the early part of the game, but they don't have to worry about it costing them games in the clutch....so...
