Time to start worrying. Will Madden 10 deliver????

With 4 months to go, I'm am becoming more worried, as probaly alot of you are as well-just hoping this time "it" will be for real.

We've seen a few screenshots, and a few very early "work in progress" vids. And we all see the additions-hand towels, refs, etc. But, will the additions "perform" like we're hoping???? And what about the things we haven't seen changed yet????

Will the handtowels blow in the wind, and move naturally???? Will the refs actually synch to the action, and movements happening on the field???? Will the refs morph through players????

A poll from Ian in regards to camera angles???? Uh-oh.

Ian, clueless about individual style and flair, still???? Uh-oh.

Yes, we're happy to see handtowels, but, the uproar (and celebration) is more in regards to authenticity, and accuracy. And that requires alot more than just handtowels.

Will the online component work????

Will we have to worry about Robo QB, or players running out of bounds with daylight ahead, or gameplay being too animation dependent????

With sooo many great suggestions in the Madden Wishlist forum, just how many of those great ideas will make it in???? Or was it all in vain????

4 months to go......

How is it time to start worrying now with 4 months to go and many more announcements to come.

I pretty much disagree with every reason you gave to start worrying.

I don't think there is really any cause to worry.

Im not worrying. Just hoping the core of the game is realistic and franchise is improved. That's all I need really. 09 was a mess, so Im going wait till '11 to start expecting all those extra cool features.

1st, take a deep breath
2nd, where the HELL did you see any early videos?
3rd, Ian has stated that towels will be animated, refs will look at who they should look at and they do move out of the way when players come at them.
4th, just remember...there are 4 months left.

If you still doubt me, go to ADembroski's thread Madden 10 Info Thread and you will change your mind...

Considering we don't usually get updates like we've been getting...I don't see how you could possibly be worried. This time of year in the past you didn't know anything about Madden.

I hate to break it to you, but their development time is extremely limited and they're almost at the point right now where they probably can't add more features; they have to try and just maintain what they have before the game goes gold. That's how it was last year; so at this point its pretty much what-you-see-is-what-you-get unless Ian can prove me wrong.

I'm actually starting to get a little deflated about the whole thing.
