Has double-team blocking been confirmed?

I really don't remember this in Madden 09. And if it was in there, it's been very sloppy looking. I've seen some incredible double-team blocking in NFL 2K5 and APF 2K8, which is why I want to know if it's been add/fixed for Madden 10.

It's subtle, but when you see it you're like "Wow... There's something you don't see in Madden."

I don't believe so but im pretty sure this was a top 5 concern building maddden 10. I can't stand it when a ovr 90 DT gets blocked 1 on 1 with an ovr 70 guard.

I would be unhappy if I didn't see it there, especially with improvements being made to OL/DL.

That and the fact that double-team blocking was Madden '08, and broken gang tackles...

Will we get actual blocking assignments of any kind?

I doubt we'll get "assignments". But with this adaptive AI, I assume OL/DL play will be involved. So say for instance, Umenyiora is getting a lot of pressure from the edge, the OT on his side may try to kick out a little more to try and prevent him from getting the outside.

I dont just want to see double-team blocking like the past. I want to see a DT like Haynesworth(sp) who is strong enough and big enough to be able to push and hold to guys be able to stand up and also see a DE who may be 270 get put onto his rear if he doesnt have enough strength to hold back the two blockers.

Also, having blocking assignments would be pretty cool. Say if I was playing the Texans or Redskins, I would want to have Williams and Haynesworth almost always double teamed.
