I hope the game is opened up this year to allow roster makers like myself and others to edit and create oldtime teams and/or seasons. The former competition allowed this and there are some very talented roster makers who recreated past seasons, along with creating close to 100 oldtime teams that can be used either in exhibition or season mode.

How fun is it to play with Unitas, Brown, Namath, Butkus, Sayers, Montana, etc? I just hope EA gives us the chance to create these teams and/or seasons. Not just some players to be stuck in the FA pool, but the ability to create the 1989 49ers, 1969 Jets, 1975 Steelers, etc.

If so, you have added a whole bunch of new customers for your product.

I never understood why Deion Sanders,Troy Aikman, Emmit Smith, Jerry Rice etc. were never in the NFL greats part of Madden.

It's already been said that they wont do it. Even if it doesn't strictly go against licenses they've said they wont do it.
