If APF 2k8 had NFL rosters...

APF was horrible compared to 2K5. No, I would not buy it. But like the guy said above, this should be in the APF forums.

If it was 2K5 with it updated animation set and NFL Rosters then yes. Again this seems awkward already having it but for $5 I saw no reason not to.

I feel the same way. I got 2k5 for a dollar and i've stopped playing it... just reminded me of why i've always liked madden so much over 2k games. I don't know these are one and the same, but i feel as though the actual gameplay of 2k5 sucked. the animations were great.... but (and i may be trying to talk about something else) the gameplay - playing the game was... bad.

2k5 had franchise,the NFL,better graphics and much better presentation.Only the animations were better in APF.APF's smack talk cutscenes were laughable and you could only create neandrethals in player creation.

No thanks.If 2k would make a next-gen updated replica of 2k5 that would be another story.

The new dev crew deserves their shot at making Madden special this year without anyone throwing the past in their faces or pre-judgement when all we've heard is dedication and good things.
