Has Safety Ever Played An Important Role?

In a madden game? Other than ofcourse the interceptions...But I think the role of a safety should be tuned upwards a bit

*Not really sure if the DB/WR interaction is also intended for the safety position, Maybe Ian or one of the members to attend community day can shed light on this

My SS (Chris Harris) is exceptional at forcing fumbles on hits over the middle...so I'd say they are important...and also with run support...but I agree, they could see a little more love in coverage...having a safety over the top on deep routes keeps the deep ball from being a given, we should see this in madden as well...

Safety seems to be fine... I mean, aside from when they don't do what they're supposed to but that's more of an AI issue.

I expect the Safety to interact w/ WRs just like a DB would if you are covering them man to man.
