Behind in the times

I was just watching some vids of Head Coach. Honestly, I don't think I could get into just the coaching aspect of the game, but my question is this....Why in the hell didn't Madden implement those sidelines in the game? That stuff looks awesome! I can't be the only who thinks this, am I?

People, the field and the stadiums would look a lil bit worse.

I bought the collectors edition of madden last year, and just in the last week have i started playing this game (because being on this forum makes me wet for football and I cant take 09 anymore)

it's a good game. finally allowed myself to like it. there are a lot of problems, but the sidelines are amazing. I would love those, but we're not getting them. Ian said they would affect on field resolution or something along that lines

Okay then that leads me to this question. How can a game on the Xbox(yes, 2K5) can do it but EA can't do it on the 360? There's something wrong with this picture.

I just saw some NFL Head Coach gameplay footage and it looked fine to me... I wouldn't mind that level of on-field graphics if it means you could throw more stuff on teh sidelines to make it more immersive.

Re: Behind in the times

Madden '08's graphics stunk and HC used that same engine for on-the-field, so no thanks there.

But the HC sidelines are great, and yes I brought this up. I don't see how these can't be used as cutscenes, because essentially that what a sideline scene is. Let's see what they do. Either way there is no question that the sideline scenes in HC were fantastic and should be in Madden.

Yep, you add those cut scenes to the improved graphics and gameplay....then you got a real winner, winner, chicken dinner!
