Crowd Noise Fixed in M10?

In Madden 09 there was no crowd noise what so ever. If I were to make a big play or a TD, the crowd would just stay quiet. That took a lot out of the atmosphere in last years game. Is this fixed in Madden 10?

I hear ya. Hell, the crowd was even quiet during the playoffs and SB.

Seems like a VERY VERY easy fix. just record a real crowd for various games at various times and put it in. DONE...On to the next thing.

I agree! The crowd noise mus be fixed. It realy kills the immersion when there is no diffrence in noise whatsoever.

Fix the crowd and the game will be immensly more immersive.

I think it's the total opposite, the crowd noise is always using the same tone pretty much all game. And it's a loud annoying sound.

True.... There was no variation from a 1st down, touchdown, incomplete pass or a sack. It was just one loud *** tone, lacking excitement or passion in one of the most emotion filled sports in the world.

I have turned crowd noise off!

It is such a dull, annoying, continuous sound. They need to recreate crowd noise entirely, it is nothing like a real football game.

The problem with turning crowd noise off is that there is basically Zero on field chatter or atmosphere. All I hear is the guys in the booth. There needs to be more on field talk and noises to make it seem like a real game of football is being played.

Re: Crowd Noise Fixed in M10?

I've come close to creating a "Madden 10 Sound Design" thread several times lately. I'm curious to learn more. There doesn't seem to be much discussion pertaining to crowd noise and other sound elements.

A crowd noise blog would be nice. Right after the Online Franchise blog.
