It can be done.

I just don't think they can update it. Does not make sense to because it's your Franchise and You and the A.I. are at the controls.

It'll be interesting to see what Looman and Moore have come up with to start a Franchise in Madden 10!
I'm pretty optimistic about franchise mode because Looman is working on it. I believe I read he worked on NFL HC before joining Madden so hopefully a bunch of the HC features makes its way onto the game.

I wish they could just combine the two games at the snap of a finger.

As I said in another post, at the very least include the picks in the "main menu"/"team management" so that users can rearrange them before starting a franchise.

That's a really good idea

I don't think they should have those picks in madden. to me when you start a franchise it should be your franchise and besides your team's roster there shouldn't be anything predetermined. If your team in real life has cap penalties should you be responsible for those too? to me starting a new franchise is a clean slate and almost like playing in the NFL year one.

Didn't head coach do this? I know if you started in the offseason they had the draft picks in the right place. Also, they allowed trading future picks. With those 2 things in head coach and I know they talked about how much the communities wanted those things. Since ian seems to place a lot of priority on pleasing the communities and they have already been able to do this in a game I would think it should be in.

Yes, but when you choose a team to run, you're inheriting the past regime's decisions. It's like taking over the Browns and then saying, "I wouldn't have drafted Brady Quinn, why does he have to be on my team?" That's how it works in real life, that's how it should work in Madden (as it does in HC'09).

Agreed...You should inherit the draft pick decisions the teams have already made for you. And like I said earlier, you shouldn't be able to get a player your team traded for essentially for free.

I to posted a thread about this. Didn't get no feedback from devs, just remaining patient. Also I'm pretty sure Denver still has one more 1st round draft pick.
