Too many Camera Flashes!

Have you been in the crowd for one? The camera doesn't show the crowd during gameplay. And I think Madden recreates the times when the pictures would be being taken at their peak the same time.

When playing Madden you mainly see the crowd as a whole for overhead shots when many people would be taking pictures.

I'm not trying to argue with you because it was overdone last year and I am pretty sure that Ian said it is toned down. But if it is overdone for the Super Bowl I would be okay with that.

But this is a trivial debate and really doesn't mean much in the end to me either way

in a blog earlier (forget which one) they said the SB would have increased flashes over regular season.. and by the way having been to a bunch of playoff games (never superbowl though) the camera flashes are insane during big game moments, kickoffs, basically all the time.

The cameras are not flashing all throughout the game in real life, Go and watch some NFL films to see for yourself, I just did.

Big-time moments they go off, but they are at their peak during kickoffs, celebrations, and the like. The flashes need to be tuned to only be going off like mad during these moments, NOT THROUGHOUT the whole game.

Let's use this video to explain exactly where there is a problem. After rewatching for the flashbulbs, it seems just fine on some plays. The flashes do not seem to go off much during the play either.

Great post, the flashes need to be tuned waaaaay down. Also, it seems that in the trailer, the flashes magically go off as soon as the player crosses the goal line or gets tackled. Its not as if 1000 random people in the stadium hold their cameras and wait until Willie Parker's knee hits the ground every play during a Super Bowl in real life....

This is a small thing, but when playing a game of APF2K8 tonight I noticed that on a kick off the cameras start flashing more and more as the kicker starts begins his kick.
