But off topic for a sec, I complained about DMC not having the speed weapon because it gave the player an incredible speed BURST, which is one of DMC's best qualities, and didn't seem to have as much effect on the player's long speed (DMC long speed is perhaps questionable, but his burst isn't). DMC wasn't DMC without the weapon IMO. Hopefully ACC plays a much bigger role this year to prevent that from happening.

I know exactly what you mean, because with the last roster update we recieved, Greg Jennings lost his "speed weapon" when they lowered his speed from 96 to 95 and the difference was huge....!!!! I normally wouldn't mind losing one point at all..... but when it took a players weapon away, it is just way too noticeable.

The difference between 96 and 95 speed should be so minimal that you could barely tell. The weapons made it work in a way that was way to unrealistic.

I really hope they are completely gone from the game...... not just set to be invisible, yet still working in the backround by default. Sure..... it keeps the clutter off the field this way...... but I want the entire weapon system gone so we don't see this kind of "special boost" anymore.

Ok lemme rephrase what I said...

I loved the BIG HITTER weapon. And that's about it...

Smart QB was useless and pretty unrealistic.

But in Superstar (which I played alot) I loved making every big hit a forced fumble.

That's probably all I will miss from it.

yup, this is why I like this. those icons were just distracting. I love the way they've simplified everything (menus, no control instructions on screen, new playcalling, etc) ...less is more, IMO.

To clarrify, They are still in the game. There is just a Option to turn them on then leaving them on by default.

Yeah, dont worry, you'll still be able to user 'rocket' catch with the dudes that had the hands icon, it may just be that much suspenseful lol...
