Best Madden game for last gen xbox?

madden '05. i just played a game of it on my ps2 and it's still great. blows '09 away.

I've seen last-gen Madden 09 at Best Buy since the release date. I live half a block from a Best Buy and I'm always tempted to pick up a copy when I go in there (Chicago btw). I've seen highlights of gameplay on youtube and it looks pretty nice...

Well I don't have my ps2 anymore, but I do have a Wii that plays all gamecube games. So imma go out and buy madden 05 for 2 bucks. I play some nfl 2k5 on my 360 but I miss the madden gameplay from last gen also.

Madden '09.

No offense intended to any poster, but many recollections may be based on nostalgia rather than actual gameplay.

I've played them all, from '98 to '09.

Madden 2009 is the best. Best gameplay, features, franchise, period.

In franchise, set the run/pass ratio to 40/60 for every team during sim. Stats will be close to dead on. It's that simple. No futzing with FB's in the RB2 spot. No moving sliders at 5, 12, weeks, etc.

Sacks will be a touch high, TD passes a touch low. But real, real close.

Oh, and 95 injury sim slider, 103 in-game. Perfecto.

Madden 05 was the only Madden I was the most happiest with. I loved that game like crazy, lol.

Mines not....but my PS2 got stolen once and another one broke....So it does not matter to me if it does or does not...I have an Xbox and didn't get the 360 for certain things it does have or doesn't have that the PS3 does or doesn't...not to start anything at all...just my $.02
