In Madden apparently the computer will do a better job of seeing your tendencies and play calling. My idea is to have this done not just within one game, but carried over from one week to the next.

For example, the Wildcat formation was something that teams may not have expected at first so it threw them off. Future teams though were able to scout it out and knew what was coming before the play was actually run within that game. In other words, the other team knew the tendencies due to scouting before the game.

I know this would be hard to implement, but if possible it would be cool to see the computer stack the box against teams with a strong running game before someone actually does it within a game. Or if a team has a good offense, the computer would know ahead of time to pound it out and slow down the game. Would really make every game a challenge.

Didn't they have something like this on 2k5? I know you could study your opponent's tendencies.

And also..the computer already seems to know our plays. Every single down

Of course the AI going to know what you call and what you running before hand. Because all of it is in it's computer memory duh!

No, he means tendencies.

So that before a game, the computer realises (from past games in your franchise season) that you're a run heavy team. They therefore would bring 8 men in the box more often, etc.

This is where I guess it'd be hard to manage it. There's already a sense among a lot of people that the computer already knows what play you do, so this could add to that frustration

They were able to do this in Front Page Sports Football '97 and '98. Every week you constantly had to change up your play calling or the computer would start to dominate you if you became stagnant. That was over 10 years ago and no football game has been able to replicate it since.
