So, while trolling the boards, I had my TV on and some stand up comedian was on and he mentioned he plays madden, so that grabbed my attention.

He was talking about how he likes to play Madden but recently the game is "way too serious." and paraphrasing, it went a little like this:

"So I started my game and before I could play it asked me how much my hot dogs should be. I was thinking "i don't know what a fair market price of a digital hotdog should be? can't I just play? I didn't go to college, wha... what.. why should I change the price of the hot dogs?

I use the titans and after one game the game was like, Vince Young isn't happy with his contract. 'Well, how about you tell Vincent, that, uh, he isn't real, and if he doesn't get his act together, I'm going to re-start my franchise and erase his @$$.'"

That last bit had me rolling. Anyway, thought I'd share. any other good [better] Madden NFL jokes you have heard, read, come up with?

Good stuff...

No Madden jokes here but I loved the scene in "The Break-Up" with Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston where he was online playing Madden (last-gen) and was talking **** to the dude on the mic who kept telling him to shut up cause he was old...if you have not seen that movie, that scene and the one later where Vaughn is thanking his players and their little digital hearts are classics!
