im just wondering about the changes to the dev team that everyone is talking about. can anyone tell me who exactly are the new members of the team and who is gone?

I think the guys in charge aren't necessarily new. But its just under new control.

You can have all the same parts, but with proper direction you can make them into a thing of beauty or you can turn it into a travesty.

example: lets take some lego and watch an artist craft something and with the exact same pieces let an idiot craft something... see my point

I think Ortiz takes way too much heat in these forums.

I don't doubt for a second he was trying hard and had the game's best interest at heart. He just thought that the tourney crowd was the heart of Madden.

It doesn't make him the devil. It was just a direction he chose.

Badmouthing the guy is pretty stupid and counterproductive.

He wasn't the devil. I kinda liked David Ortiz to be honest with you, but he should have put the community first like the Madden team is doing now.
