My fiance is getting me a Wii for my birthday next week. She wants the Wii fit. But, I figure I might as well get a game as well.

If you have the Madden 09 for the Wii was it any good. I've seen some reviews and there up and down. I'm already getting Madden 10 for either the ps3 or 360 so I'm not worried about the hardcore/casual thing.

I'm just looking for some opinions. Serious opinions. I'm not look for the don't get it EA sucks stuff either. Be mature about it. Thanks in advance guys.

I don't own a Wii and don't plan to in the future. Madden 09 and all of the rest of the Maddens on the Wii probably can't compare to the Xbox 360/PS3 versions because of the platform. The Maddens on the Wii are made specifically for family and fun play. You have to answer the following questions:
1)Why do you want to play Madden on the Wii even though you'll get it for
the Xbox 360/PS3?
2) Are you a "family gamer"?
3) Are you impressed with the Wii's motion sensor controls?
4) Do you want Madden 09 on the Wii for the "fun factor" instead of the graphics?

Madden on Wii has been a last-gen game with some Wii-like controls added in. The game is heading towards the Wii attitude, in terms of games.

I cannot vouch for franchise modes, etc., but expect a PS2/Xbox game with some Wii controls tacked on.

Just looking for something different and fun. Not worried about graphics. If I was I wouldn't be looking at the wii. Thanks for the help even though you don't have it or want it. Anyone else?

Cant say for sure. I know that its last gen madden(Which we all loved for the most par) with wii controls. If you can pick it up for around 20 bucks I say go for it.

LOL this year wii version is going to look awful wierd. Most you most likly already scene it.

Madden 10 Wii looks good to me. If you're willing to wait OP you could just get that along with your PS3/360 version.
