There is no reason Dick Vitale's 'Awesome Baby! College Hoops' for SNES should have better commentary than Madden, but it does.

There's got to be someway to have the announcers produce more emotion into the commentary, and less of the feeling that a script is being read.

Maybe these guys have a hard time putting game day emotion into reading these lines. I know one thing,the NCAA guys have no problem.I love Nessler for one. He puts emotion into big plays,and Kirby and the coach complement him nicely.The 2k5 and APF guys fit nicely as well. Collinsworth is very good,his lines just get repetitive. Hammond just sounds like he's reading,as did Michaels when he came on the scene. I don't what will solve this problem,but it looks like it will be the same result as far as '10 goes.

I couldn't agree more. I really enjoy listening to Tirico, I think he does a great job and would bring some life to the madden commentary. Both Hammons and Collinsworth are so monotone and dry.
