well I was responding to your post where you questioned it being 1 season or multiple seasons. I know it will be multiple seasons. Beyond that there is no guarentee. My own personal assumption put it somewhere between 10-15.

Re: Archive of interview with Ian

Yea I don't think I can answer the 2K5 question since we saw the game in pieces. It's not done, it was a chance to show some of the touchstones of what the game will be. So how it all comes together is what we'll find out August 14th. What I can tell you is that the stuff I saw in the presentation video were all things I have always wished were in the game, and added a lot of LIFE and TEXTURE to the game. The game was noticeably SLOWER and the players felt like they had WEIGHT compared to last year. This may not be what everyone wants, but it felt more REALISTIC to me. It seems like a lot of modules are being added that allow the developers to scale the game in ways that were impossible before. The added ratings, the pro-tak, the head tracking stuff, all combine to make the game closer to real football then before. I said it in the interview and I'll say it again, it sounds like this team has been given a new direction for realism, which surprised me that there was someone there before who didn't have this philosophy. I really can't comment much more on gameplay because it wasn't meant to be played as a full game. Ian was showing off Pro-Tak and how that module has affected things like gang tackling, player momentum etc. That DID show through very clearly. They still had a lot of tuning to do as evidenced by the twitter updates from Ian and the team.

I don't think any of the CD guys have much, if any info on OF. So chances are you'll have to wait for a dev.

I got to watch the video over again and at 0:22 seconds in the upper middle of the screen it says fantasy draft and then jumps to players.

So half of what I was thinking is true and I really hope they dont make it a one season run with the option for fantasy drafts...

Also not sure when they plan on releasing the video we saw of presentation elements because it was awesome. It had a lot of the moments that were in 2K5, and there is a franchise show with the guys from the NFL Network that has an interactive rundown on the side of the screen like PTI. The rundown is interactive allowing you to jump ahead to things in the rundown you want to see. This was not shown in full to us, but really sounds great for making your franchise come to life.
Knowing the franchise shows has some incorporation of Pardon the Interruption has me intrigued. I love that show. lol

Edit:
You mentioned the feeling of weight on characters. Not sure if you can answer this but was the locomotion close to what the blog earlier showed us. (ie. players not turning on a dime)

Because the term "franchise"= Multiple seasons. Just as "Dynasty"=multiple seasons.

Like I said, there is no way of knowing if its 2 season, 5, or 30 seasons but its certain that it will be more than 1 season.

I wasnt a CD guy nor do I have any info, but no offense to you, its just common sense that franchise=more than 1 season.

There is a big difference between three things

Common Knowledge- People ask if you can be in a league with another person and yourself.(or how in the world will they fill up a 32 human league with sim players)

The answer was already given in both picture, video, and words. These people dont have common knowledge yet.

Common Sense- I ask will the season be longer then one season because they have not said anything about it being as long as offline franchise. Also common sense would be to ignore you because you are not a dev nor do you have any real knowledge about my question.

Assumptions- Are people saying of course its going to be longer then one year.

I dont mean to insult you but that is how it boils down.
