Madden NFL 10 Video: Halftime Report (Chase @ E3)

**** I hate to say it, but that STILL destroys what Madden just showed us. Maybe Madden 11 will at least come close, or '12, or '13, etc.

Exactly...it tops anything EA has ever done. But it STILL falls way short of that other football game. It makes me sick that there is a group of talent out there that can make a much better football game, but they aren't allowed to use the NFL license.

The Half-Time and Post-Game shows are awful. The only highlights shown are for your own team. The voice overs are horrible. Both shows are bland. No highlights for The Extra Point. Guys, there was a game that did all of this and more 5 years ago. Oh, and it had Broadcast camera angles.

This is so inexcusable...

Having one group of people exclusively working on NFL games was the most stupid ******* idea ever imaginable for this genre.

Wow, you're right, the Madden halftime show is a joke compared to the 2k5 one. I like the camera angles much better in the 2k5 one as well. Also, maybe I just couldn't hear it but it didn't sound like there was any music or anything when the Extra Point show logo came up on screen. Usually there would be some kind of music to go along with that in an actual broadcast.

And the highlights shown in the 2k5 video actually seemed like important plays. Aside from the INTs in the Madden 10 show, why are we seeing a run for -2 yards? Unless it's on 4th down or something, but we have no way of knowing that since there is no voice over or anything.

That is what you call a halftime report/show? Highlights with no narration, no commentary, nothing? There is absolutely NO reason to even have a halftime report if it's going to be like this.

I just don't get it. It was seriously lame.

PLEASE put in the commentary/narration that shows those plays.
