Confirmed!! No analog control/movement in Madden 10

I can't believe this!

Why did the developers feel that basic digital (on - off) movement is all that is needed in this year’s game? I mean were talking about a significant control aspect of the game (the ability to slow the player you’re controlling down) that’s missing.


This is not Ten Yard Fight,

Tecmo Bowl or

Real Sports Football

It's embarrassing that these games have the same basic control as Madden 2010. You would think that after 21 years we should have the basic ability and control to move the players around in a realistic way.

I'm baffled how you (EA) continue to add new features year after year and not replace features that are missing from basic gameplay.

I'm ashamed of some of the ppl on this board. Some of you guys are more interested in the fluff. Stripes on jerseys, animated towels, colored cleats and all the other BS. How about we ask/get the general movement and control, real ball physics and smarter cpu AI "In The Game" first then ask for looks and style.

The whole idea of having a post game interview but not having the ability to slow my RB down and get behind blockers sickens me.

For those of you that don't understand what analog control is read this thread.

The locomotion got screwed up. EA couldn't deliver what they promised.

I agree, there was a lot done this year, so I wouldnt be so quick to say it was a wasted year, but this is for sure better be at the top of the list for 11.
