Re: Pre-Game/In-Game stat banners

The only thing we can draw on is recent history and if that is the case we are in trouble. We did not have the stat banners in 09 but we did have commentary and after your first year in franchise the commentary was all off. You could play two games in your second year and they would talk about how your RB has surpassed the 1,000 yard marker with that carry and such.

I am hoping with the Ian era they have fixed this but I remain skeptical until proven otherwise.

Edit: Ian cleared that up.

Woo!

Re: Pre-Game/In-Game stat banners

Stat banners look hot to me. They're very sleek and timely. I think they did a good job of making sure the player dominates the frame when they come up, as I've now seen this several times.

It's really great to see the in-game presentation having made such improvement in just one cycle. I still can't get over that TD angle on that Portis TD I seen last night. That's what spotlighting is all about. I'm actually going to look forward to scoring this year.
