Re: Best Madden Soundtrack?

i enjoy heavy metal, and madden 08 (i think it was) got me into a great band named Enter Shikari.

I pretty much downright hate rap/hip hop/whatever you want to call it, and I find the softer stuff too boring, so I like it when Madden puts in a couple of songs with screaming in them.

if its talentless like you say then i would like to see you do it..otherwise quit being a kid and respect other peoples opinions and personal taste in music. Did I make an attack as to what other people like? No...I stated my taste in music..and i didnt call anyone elses personal taste in music garbage, sh*t,boring, etc. But im not going to argue with you because its a waste of time and I could care less if you want to be the child here out of everyone else

Agreed.

As to the Metal/screamo fans, what about screaming appeals to you? Music is a form of art and I just don't see the art in people screaming at the top of their lungs.

Alter Bridge is like some whinier version of Creed.

And I don't know about you, but I hate when doped up punks get up on their soap box and try to inform my political conscience, a la Green Day in this particular song.

THANK YOU! I hate Screamo...such a joke...I played varsity football for four years and people always blared that **** in the locker room to "get pumped up." It's honestly for brainless, testosterone-loaded, apes. Some "cold-blooded" rap or hip hop does so much more.

EDIT: Probably a little harsh. I hate Screamo but there is nothing wrong with people who do like it. I have friends who appreciate it so I'm clearly not trying to say everyone who enjoys it is retarted. I have just always hated it with a passion, so please excuse my vitriol.

Last year's soundtrack sucked. It seems like they only had two types of music: HARD ROCK and crappy hip-hop. They need to spread things out a little more, dip into a few more genres, and try to create a more balanced soundtrack. I think everyone should be able to find at least 1 or 2 songs they like.

EDIT: I was playing NBA 2k7 recently and they have like 50+ songs on there, but not all of them were "pre-selected" to play. Madden could put a few more songs in to increase the variety available. I seriously doubt a song file takes any significant amount of space up.
