Since it appears EA basically lied about making franchise mode great again, I will be waiting until 2011 to buy the game.

Dont get me wrong, I applaud the effort of the EA team, but when this thing started, all I heard was that franchise would be greatly impiroved, and while the tweaking to the logic was definitely needed, things like 53 man rosters year round and no trading future draft picks are inexcusable.

I dont really have time to do an online franchise, and the same old OFFline franchise mode isnt going to cut it, even with the improved gameplay. Itll be a rental...maybe even a late buy, but I am very disappointed that offline franchise wasnt given more attention this year.

Man - lock

I can't tell you how frustrating it was last year to be in zone coverage only to watch a user controled offense come out in a twins formation and hot route his guys all over the place. Regardless of success rate I would have rather been able to disguise my coverage like they do in the NFL. Huge fundamental miss imo.

I retract my first post. I was watching E3 videos and I think I found something that missed the cut. Its not 100% sure but watch the video of the first play of the INT return for TD.


Real time fatigue


What do I mean by this? I mean players do not get tired as they play on the field. I probably could launch a 60 yard pass and have the DB pick it off then have him run it back at the same speed 100 yards without slowing down near the end of his return(getting tired as he sprints EVERYWHERE on the field). That means he gets to run 160 yards at the exact same speed.




This will lead to plays like this if it is true and its a huge downfall to the game because it takes away a lot of realism.
