We haven't heard any music at all from Madden even during the game footage. There probably is an embargo on the soundtrack for this year right now.

I was thinking about that this morning. We haven't gotten a full taste of Madden games yet because of the lack of music in between plays.

The highlights package can be salvageable if music is included. It's not perfect, and I hope they rework it next year so that it is more "broadcast style" (meaning commentary and more TV-like replay angles), but I can live with it for this year. If music somehow doesn't make it into the highlights, however, then I'll just skip 'em. But it's not a game-breaker for me.

I'm buying this game for two reasons: Overall improvements in gameplay, and online franchise.

Yes I remember a vid of the halftime show with music playing while it showed the highlights. I think it was the titans ravens game ian posted.
