Possible solution to playbooks blocking cutscenes...

As been said a lot here, the playbooks block some of the cutscenes. After messing around with some pictures that I was editing, an idea came to me...

Here's how the playbooks are now:

Pretty bold and becuase they are bold, they block the cutscenes.

Now what I thought is maybe there can be some transparency to them. Kinda like this:

Therefore, while the playbooks are still on the screen, you can still see what's going on in the cutscenes. Maybe there could even be a setting for playbook transparency in the presentation category of sliders so that people can adjust it to there liking. What do you guys think?

Re: Possible solution to playbooks blocking cutscenes...

I think this is a head-to-head only issue...and really in H2H games, there is rarely someone sitting around watching the cut scenes (at least not in the environments that I have seen H2H games being played)...

At any rate, transparencies run the risk of becoming unreadable if someone has a lot of room lighting or glare on their screen...not a horrible idea, just something I think they would be hard pressed to do well...

If I could make personal changes to this, I would stay with the 3-play box, but instead of having them stacked horizontally in the center, I would run them vertically on either side of the 16x 9 frame...leaving the entire 4x3 frame inside free to show the cut scenes...

Yeah and that's why I said that maybe a slider for it would be better since some people would have a hard time reading the plays.

Something like this would cool to me (but I am odd to say the least...lol):

Well this is a issue and debate people can keep on fusing bout. But the simple solution to this is Ian and crew could allow a longer cutscene before the play selection scene comes up. Then for the people who just want to skip the cut scene and go straight to the play selection screen can just push any button. That simple.

I like this too, but what would happen when we have to make subs? Would it stretch out or something? I ask because there isn't that much room for doing that since it's vertical.
