Madden 06 the most sim EA football game ever?

Are you guys talking about Madden 06 on the Xbox/PS2 are or you guys talking about Madden 06 on the Xbox 360/PS3? If it is the latter, you guys are very confused. Madden 2005 was the best Madden period. End of discussion.

08 PC, by the time the guru's got finished with it, that was THE game, Maddenwise.

Madden 05 IMO is the best all around Madden ever.

06 was my favorite as well. The cone was an awesome feature that I miss. Ive heard great things about Madden 08 on the PC, never played it though.

05 was the most sim ever. Mostly because franchise mode was MUCHHHHH better in 05, and the coaching sliders gave you complete customizable control. At MaddenMania, a Manifesto was put together to take advantage of this. In 06, this was all worthless. Also, progression was much worse, and the pictures they gave rookies were laughable. At one point I had almost 20 players who looked EXACTLY the same. Same skin color, same haircut, everything. It really killed the realism.
