We see preseason games before we get any real NCAA games. Secondly, EA could finally include all of Madden's new features in NCAA in the same year, cause it seems like they have to give big brother first dibs at them. They've already got a perfect example with the Live/NCAA Basketball release dates.Hell, Madden would sell any day of the year so why should an August date matter?

Nah...I prefer it the way it is. Builds up the anticipation. Release the more elite game after the lesser game. From a business standpoint, you do it that way to maximize sales.

Besides, for franchise mode junkies like myself, I would need NCAA for my draft imports.

Save the best for last. NCAA is horrible. Get that trash out of the way and it will give ballers a "quick fix" until the fat burger comes out.

NCAA already sells worse than Madden, think how it would sell if Madden came out FIRST.

No way EA would EVER do this.

I agree with the business aspect of it. Madden will sell millions of copies on day one and the build up adds to it. NCAA benifits from coming out first because of our hunger for any new football game. we snack on that and are still hungry when Madden comes out a month later. I also think that it is the hype that makes us feel more disappointed than we should about these games.

I hear what you're saying but NCAA suffers because of this. Each year we already know NCAA is getting Madden's left overs--which is unfair to those who like the college game more.

Madden is the big brother. You really can't do anything to appease NCAA football fans. Honestly... they don't put enough time into the NCAA series I find. Its not the big seller.

If anything both games should be pushed back. NCAA is August, Madden in September.
