The critics of Madden from OS were chosen by EA, not OS.

Take it up with EA if you weren't satisified by who was chosen.

That's fine. Apex may have well been a better choice, I dunno. I do think that there seem to be more martyrs for his cause than needed, but maybe he'll be added on. My view is, the more discerning eyes on early copies, the better.

That said, I'm sure there are many varying opinions on who, or just how well, the community was represented. Taking issue with who exactly was chosen to represent the community is a separate discussion though.

All this came about because someone mentioned that the community reps seemed to come away more slanted to the positive than the negative. As I recall LB has been very critical and detailed when it comes to his views on Madden. The fact that he still points out plenty of shorcomings yet is still positive is an encouraging sign. Time will tell though, as even their view of the game was somewhat limited.

I also recall guys like LB, Bezo, and Adem being thrown in Ian's face by the bulk of the community...begging for them to have more direct input. It would appear that the community largely (not saying across the board) got what it wanted in that respect.

Whether or not that means we'll have a good Madden this year, I have no idea. Just pointing out that it would appear that the community was relatively well represented overall (and no, I'm not presuming to speak for everyone on that...lol)

EDIT: Just saw your other post. I'm not picking on you...lol. I'm just, like you, giving my take on it. I'm honestly not invested enough to take sides.
