Absolutely genius to sell the game the day after the Steelers and Cardinals play their preseason game, especially since they have a Polamalu and Fitzgerald on the cover. As others have mentioned, fans see the ads during the game and Friday they pick up the game and do nothing but play the rest of the weekend.
Very smart marketing on EA's part.
