Will Madden 10 possibly get the big 10 this year?

I highly doubt it gets a 10. Has any football/sports game ever gotten a perfect score?

No way it gets 10 no sport game should ever get it. they are just to recycled and rehashed to deserve it. my guess will be seven and eights with maybe a few nines. If anyone gets them a 10 I will be blown away.

If NHL10 doesn't get all of the sports game of the year awards, it wont be because of Madden. It will be because of MLB the Show 09, and that is if NHL 090 doesn't win. NHL 09 has some great things they are adding into their game this year. It's looking very sweet.

if EA dishes the magazines enough cash under the table i say yes. please tell me the difference between gta4 getting a 10 and madden getting a 10. doesnt make sence because madden is no where near the quality it should be.

No, and it shouldn't.
There's still many things it needs to fix (IMO)to deserve a 10 rating.
I'm not saying it won't be a good or even great game, but a 10? No............

Yes Ian,Phil and the rest of his crew has done a great job this year no doubt. It's going to get even better next year. I can't wait to play madden demo in 2 weeks.

Let's go with IGN's 8.8. Don't you think 10 deserves something close to 9.5? From what we've seen, Madden 10 is improving over 09 which results in ratings going up instead going down. That is how ratings work. Just because something we asked for wasn't added for this year, doesn't necessarily mean the game sucks. You have to also look at the hard work put into 10 and what the future is like. I'm saying 10 because it's 2010. Honestly, it'll be either 9.5 or 9.8. With the criticism Madden get's, don't you think they deserve some credit? This is coming from a guy who blasted the Madden franchise for so many years.

I'm all for presentation. If the game plays great, who cares for presentation. Let's not compare sports games with action adventure genre or RPG. You play GTA4 and your done in a month. You play Madden all year long. I think sports games deserve more credit then you think. In the end; it's the replay value that counts. Back when gamespot did reviews based on categories, a game could drop from 9.0 to 8.5 just because of the replay value.
