Vick
never learned the art of being an actual QB when he was playing the game, now, with a two + year layoff he's going to suddenly develop this skill? Yeah... I think it best that you stick with creating him in Madden because that's as close as he'll get to being the QB an NFL team actually looks at to lead their franchise.

You can disagree with my assessment all you want. Continue living in your fantasy world where Vick actually matters. Truth of the matter is that very few football players miss two years and return as good as before. Joe Montana is the only one who springs to mind to be able to do this. And he was the greatest QB to ever step on the field.

At least the last four words of your post ring true...

Your serious right? For one thing, you don't need to show leadership by hyping up your teammates or doing other things that everyone believes "leaders" do. You can be a good leader by stepping up to the plate and making plays. That is what a true leader does, and that is what Vick did. He made plays. As for your comparison to Joe Montana, how the hell can you compare the two? One is a mobile QB, the other a pocket passer. Montana was one of the greatest to play, Vick is not. Vick was on his way to becoming a better passer, and just look at this for a sec. People say the same thing in every argument about Vick.

Check the stats. Go to Yahoo Sports, go to ESPN, go to the frikin NFL website. Look at the 2006 passing stats and you will see Vick up there with the best of that season. He of course didn't have the passing yards...but who did he have at receiver?

That year, he had about 2500 passing yards, and about 24TDs. around 12INTs.

TOM BRADY. Had around 3500 yards. AROUND 25TDs, and I think 13INTS.

I'll check again to make sure I am correct.

Ok, Vick had

2474yds 20tds 13ints

Tom Brady

3529yds 24tds 12ints

Aside from the yards. If Tom Brady is the so called champ you say. Why did Vick have similar passing stats? Not to mention, 06' was the year Vick set the single season record for rushing yards as a QB? What do you guys look at all the time? All you ever do is listen to other people and reiterate what they say. You have no idea what you are talking about. Vick was a year away from being a top QB in the league. Nobody knows that Bobby Petrino, a QB specialist, was head coach that next season, 07'. If Vick didn't do what he did, Vick would have been unstoppable in Petrino's offense. Why do you think he left before the season even ended? Because he knew he wouldn't have Vick for another 3 years. Get your facts right, EVERYONE, before you talk trash about Vick again.

I agree. The fact we spend time talking about him says it all. Anyone here arguing that Joey Harrington should be in the game, for example?

The champ in 06 was Peyton Manning.... Because he won the Superbowl. Vick has never been a champ.

Lets start with stamina. Unless you can prove me wrong, your pretty annoying right now with this.

Did you watch Michael Vick play? In case you didn't know, he was an option QB. The Falcons used him and Warrick Dunn in the option a lot. When they weren't using the option, Vick was scrambling anytime his garbage receivers weren't open. When he wasn't passing or scrambling because of his receivers, HE WAS RUNNING DESIGNED SCRAMBLE PLAYS. In case you don't know, or anyone else here, when you have a fast QB, YOU USE HIS SPEED. Half of the Falcons playbook was designed around Vick. They had options, rollouts, scrambles, all for Vick. 50% of the time he runs is not because he just feels like running, they are called plays. Unbelievable. He did everything for his team and you say he only should have a stamina of 30. He ran the entire offense! For anything his stamina should be a 100! Have you ever seen his plays where he ran through the whole defense TWICE to score? Ever watch the Falcons Vikings game when he got into the league? The game winner? You need stamina for crap like that.

I explained the leadership to you before I don't feel like saying it again, even though you are just going to come back with some bogus argument.

Half the time he actually threw the ball on target to his receivers they dropped it. Yea he wasn't known for his accuracy, but there were plenty of times where you see him throw into tight spots and your like, "Wow...he just threw that? In there? And completed it? Wow..." Ever see that Bengals game? Where he scrambled left and threw it like 40 yards into the back left corner of the endzone for a TD in double coverage? I guess you haven't, you need accuracy to throw that throw.

His awareness is definitely questionable at some points, but at others, he does not deserve a frikin -15, lol. Yeah, this is one point i sort of agree with you but it is not that bad. He had to know where the defenders were at all times when he scrambled around for 30 yards in the backfield and the bombed it. I'd give him a 45 awareness. 65 at his good points.

Get your facts right before you blurt out random crap that isn't true.

You think I didn't know that? I wasn't comparing the two as super bowl champs buddy. I was saying that everyone thinks Tom Brady is so amazing yet he had similar stats with the so called NON-QB Mike Vick. Peyton Manning is and always will be the champ.

Re: Vick

I want him in the game because I think his sig style of throwing would look awesome, but i doubt that will happen.

Re: Vick

We are not going to debate the abilities or anything else pertaining to Michael Vick in this forum. The OP got an answer -- As of now, Vick is not in the game due to the fact that he is not an active NFL player. If he is reinstated this year, he would likely be added in a roster update. End of story...
