Best Madden player never used in NFL

Greg Jones, fullback for the Jags. In Madden every year he is a beast carrying the ball from the fullback spot. Last year he played in 12 games with the Jags and they gave him 2 rushing attempts. Between Greg Jones and Maurice Jones-Drew, the Jags could bring back memories of Dunn and Alstott from Tampa Bay.

Well if if he only received two carries this year, his rating is gonna take a hit. Unless he improved on his run blocking.

Not Madden, but I drafted Tim Couch as my QB in our NFL2k5 fantasy franchise. He (along with Jamal Lewis) took me to the Super Bowl and won it. He was also MVP.

Re: Best Madden player never used in NFL

2 carries doesn't mean he is a bad FB. FBs are for blocking on many teams. TO say he isn't used because he only got two carries isn't fair. 49ers used Fred Beasly for years, and he was one of the better blocking FBs in football. I used Fred as my lead blocker a lot to spring Garrison Hearst and Kevin Barlow.

I try to play Madden a lot like the real NFL as much as I can. As the 49ers I use Michael Robinson as my back up running back to Frank gore, as the 3rd down and goal line back [Gore is known in real life as a fumbler, and has 80 carry in Madden. No goal line fumbles please, give it to Robinson,] as a FB because the 49ers don't really have an active FB so they use Robinson there too, as a 4th wide out at times, and in M10 as the Widlcat QB because he played QB at Penn State for JoPa.

I agree that in Madden speed is the game winning rating, so anyone fast that can catch/hold onto the ball goes on to the list. I would say that [hopefully] in M10 that playerws with strength will be just as important. Brusing RBs, to power TEs and big WRs, to Defensive linemen.
