Ian has said that they don't have Player Lock ala NCAA, however I want to know if there is "man lock" from legacy gen Madden where you could turn it on/off to hide/bluff man or zone coverage.

I like the Player lock feature in NCAA and hope M11 gets it. However I will be upset if M10 doesn't have man lock. It is too stupid that people can call Twins formations and send people in motion to see if you are for sure in man or zone and you can't use man lock to bluff like you are when you are in zone, or fake that you aren't when you are.

Well I thought you meant something like this:

In franchise mode you can choose to lock on to the player for that game on defense (similar to NBA 2k).

Defense lock can occur On-line if you want to play one defender in Madden 10 but otherwise, only Superstar Mode gives you that type of view. Franchise mode, not yet.
