Franchise Mode~ Team Relocation

I've been looking for an answer regarding team relocation on PS3 (or 360). Specifically, I want to know whether or not we can move an existing team to a new city and keep the name, logo, and uniforms? I suspect that we cannot as this has not been available in past editions but for me it's a huge feature.

For example, I would love to move my Raiders franchise back to Los Angeles but if I can't keep the uniforms or the logos then what's the point? I don't want to play as the "Tiburon Sharks" or some name like that with absolutely terrible uniforms and awful colour schemes. As well, if I move my team I also lose the alternate jerseys/throwback jerseys and that affects my enjoyment level as a gamer.

Team relocation was very weak on Madden 09 and we have NOT heard much if anything about this feature for 2010 so one may only assume that it received ZERO attention this year. If that's the case it's really dissapointing. I know Ian is all about customization so I will keep my fingers crossed that this year we can keep names and jerseys if we relocate our teams. Just my two cents.

So I want to re-create the L.A. Raiders... who do you want to create or what city do you want to move to???

From what I've read you can only keep your logos and such if you rebuild your stadium but if you relocate you lose them.

If so, that's very dissapointing. Team have relocated before and kept the same logo and jerseys. Why can't this be done in the game as well? I would not think it would be very difficult to include this in the game

Im pretty sure it has something to do with the NFL not allowing it. It does suck that I cant Move the NY Jets to New York and not keep the Uniforms and logos.

Yeah, you're probably correct on that one. Still though... I mean it's a game and who really cares if you are the Louisville Rams or the L.A. Raiders or the Hawaii 49ers for that matter! The logo is copyright and the uniforms cannot be edited. Where is the harm??? Sometimes the NFL is too paranoid about these things...

Many of these little issues are the NFL's fault. Loosen up and let us play a GAME. It's a game.

There was some kind of glitch on the PS2 and original Xbox versions that allowed you to keep your original logo when you moved a team. I don't if it made it's way to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.

Was it really a glitch? It's been a few years, but didn't the older Maddens have actual NFL logos available for such things...or at least an option to keep things the same (meaning only changing the city name)?

I swear I can recall moving a team to VA, but under the same team. In any case, I agree that it would be a nice option to have.
