All-Pro or All Madden Difficulty? You Decide...

Alright fellas I'm pretty sure most of us overly anticipating, forum following, blog posting fans have pretty much immersed ourselves into the Madden 2010 demo fairly deeply over the last few days while the casual NFL/gaming fan has dappled in and around a bit here or there with the demo...So I'd like to pose the question, which mode gives a more authentic representation of an NFL game?

Originally I've always played on All-Madden (namely online) and set up custom sliders offline (as much as last years version allowed) but this year feels a bit different whether the game speed, or upgrade to the animations (more specifically ball-carriers, the game boasts impressivly enough for a demo quick burst jukes/cutbacks all fueled by the L-Analog stick). And while playing on the two difficulties I noticed a pretty substantial variation b/t the two game leves...In All-Madden I saw way more LB's disengaging early to snuff out runs, or O-linemen just not doing anything, I saw GREAT pressure from the A.I. D-line while mine just kinda sputtered in the wind, I saw the A.I. QB (Warner) pick apart any zone blitz, or always find the WR with separation vs man blitzs. So I decided I wonder what All-Pro is like this year? Initially it felt the same but as I grew accostomed to the new plays and game speed I began to put together drives (I am now able to on All-Madden as well) but not only that Larry Fitzgerald wasn't open on inside digs, or consistently beating man press with the ILB in a shallow mid zone to help on crossing routes with a S over the top, I saw the very same man/zone blitzs actually apply pressure and force bad throws and ducks even had a sack (manually a few times). So while I'm now more excited to continue to hone my skills in this demo til 8/14, I wonder what the other users preferences are for the difficulty level in this demo. Though I'm 100% sure when the game is released I will become an "Elitist" to unlock online All-Madden games; because while playing my brother (yes if you haven't noticed yet you can play co-op or vs in the demo) I noticed that both teams were getting pressure and maintaining assignments offensively and defensively O-line and D-line. So I hope to read others thoughts soon, and if you got nothing at all out of this post hopefully you learned about vs and co-op in the demo.

I think for me it's either All Pro or All Madden with some sliders adjusted.
I'm having trouble getting to the QB on All Madden regaurdless of how many people I send. It's like I blitz and the QB still has 6 seconds in the pocket to find the open man. It feels like the lack of pressure on the CPU QB is the reason there completion % is so high, because everytime I look at the replays the recievers are well covered but not even the best corner can cover a reciever forever.

I voted for All-pro, but that really isn't fair. Against the computer it is accepted by many that the computer flat out cheats. From "spygate" knowing of your plays to moving your players out of the way so either you don't make a play or so the computer can, to many more reasons I won't clog this post up with. Against human players though I prefer All-Madden. I find on All-madden agaisnt human players that "weaksauce plays" are far less effective. You throw into tight coverage, you are more likely going to get picked than complete the pass like you would on all-pro. Also, those who scramble out of the pocket have a harder time scrambling to gain yards or even just buying time to throw as the D more often attacks the QB. Again, I could go on.

The thing is, on All-Pro, it has been my experiance that just playing sound fundamental football is all you need to beat the computer on all-pro. M10 may be different, but until it is proven to be, I play on all-pro until I am "too good" for it, then move to all Madden to se what areas the computer is finally good at and where I struggle, then finally go back and set the custom sliders to somewhere in between. I actually find myself setting the my run D to above all-madden levels because the computer can't run to save it's life in 09 and prior. There are more tweeks, but I am a player who admits I don't have very good "stick skills." I rely on my play calling and postion. I go for the more safe pass than not. I grind it out instead of going for the big run every down.

My very first game of Madden 10 will be on All-Pro. I will alter it from there if need be.

Custom sliders, I dont think the game has a perfect balence in all aspects of the game on either all pro or all madden. Some things are too hard, some to easy. Only way to get the right balence is to do it yourself

I been debating this alot lately. For playing against the CPU,if u need a challenge and you're tired of moping the CPU,then All Madden is for you.

But what about when you play a human player? Should you play on the souped up All Madden level?

How can anyone answer this question when they don't have the retail version of the game yet?

I find it upsetting when the cpu cheats and moves my players and it's impossible to sack them as soon as I get there they will always throw a second before you reach there and your db will just move so they can catch the ball. And Marion Barber breaks way too many tackles and im not using the hit stick.
