GAME BREAKING BUG - Madden 10 and NCAA 10

I took a video to illustrate my point. I made some changes to the depth charts to show how dramatically this glitch affects gameplay. On the right side of the line, Texas's best 2 WRs are going up against OU players who aren't even real cornerbacks. I subbed in backup halfbacks Madu and Calhoun. Their CB rating is 40. On the left side, I put in defensive players at Wide Receiver. They are going up against Oklahoma's 2 best corners. As you can see from the video, which side of the line of scrimmage he lines up on has a much greater impact on a WR's ability to get open against man to man press coverage than how good he is or how good the defender covering him is.

I just want to add my 2 cents that I agree there is a problem in Madden with the receivers almost always breaking right (on streaks at least). In my testing I got them to break left once or twice in about 20 tries. I noticed I was throwing a lot more to Boldin in the demo and this is mostly the reason.

shhhh close this thread before everyone sees it. j/k Well at least I know why my no. 2 WR has been getting so many balls from me. I think another guys posted that he found that they DO go left..........sometimes.

I don't know if this will help, but I too find it alot harder to throw to Fitz than Boldin in the demo, and totally agree this is a really crappy bug. That said, screens to the WR1 seems to work well and get about 12 yards a play...I haven't really tried throwing multiple in a row or anything, but I can usually throw about 3 per game and all are successful.

I almost wish I didn't find this glitch, because I was enjoying the hell out of this game. But this just sucks all the fun away. Basically, the receivers on the right side of the line are of no use against man to man press unless they are running a screen, GO route, or unless you put them in motion. The receivers will break off of zone press coverage to the left, but not man.
