Its an NFL Game buddy, therefore NFL Licenses take presidence. In other words until the License changes the shoes will be Reeboks. The equipment in NCAA is also the licensed apparel for College.

Its pretty simple the NFL has a contract with Reebok to be the official show of the NFL therefore they are the shoes used in Madden.

There is no official shoe of the NFL. Nike, Under Armour, and Adidas are allowed. Also, Nike gloves have been worn the last few years... I own a pair of NFL Nike Gloves. Reebok is exclusive for uniforms and apparel only.

Because the graphic team only wanted to make one shoe that they would use for team colored cleats.

Glorious, Adidas wasn't approved at the time. Didn't make sense though because Reebok is owned by Adidas. That statement is for apparel... just like I mentioned. My issue with the shoe thing is this... Nike made a commercial using Madden a year or two ago.

But the NBA equipment is addidas and still NBA Live and 2K have Nike and other shoes
