Is there any way that EA can fix the fact that a solid 5 seconds runs off the clock before the play clock starts? This is one of the only things that frustrates me about the game so far.

I believe its because accelerated clock is on in the demo.

To clear up any confusion, I am NOT referring to the seconds that run off after you select your play.

What I am referring to was in Madden 09 and probably many of the Maddens before that when accelerated clock was not in the game. I'm not talking about seconds running off after you pick a play, I'm talking about after the play has been run and it brings up play selection again, about 5 seconds runs off before the play clock starts, which can cause one team to be able to just kneel the ball when they would have to punt it away if the play clock started on time.

I could be wrong, but I don't think the play clock starts to expire in real life until the ball has been spotted, whilst the game clock continues to expire regardless. So this is Madden emulating the ref not being able to instantly spot a ball - that's my guess.

I am pretty sure this is unrelated to AC because I am almost certain it was a problem last year.
