Working weather

Has it been left out again this year?

Joe Montana Sports Talk for the Sega Genesis had working weather.

Game starts cloudy, begins to rain or snow, changes from light to heavy, stop, starts, returns cloudy or becomes sunny.

Wind gusts and direction changes instead of just one direction all game.

NCAA 10: The weather doesn't change. Even where the sun is doesn't change until the end of each quarter. Not sure why weather is disregarded so much especially since it is a major factor in real life.

I remember that. I cant understand how such a old game had such a cool and advanced feature like that back in the early 90 s and here we are in 2009 and not one game since has replicated this. Could you imagine how cool this would be on next gen .Your 100% right when you say thay weather is such a big part of the game yet why it is getting overlooked is a mystery to me.

I think Madden 05 had changing weather to some degree. I guess only the Sega Genesis was capable of this

I ask every year so why change now. I guess it doesn't matter to most gamers which is unfortunate.
