Joe Buck is the epidemy of bland.

The most incredible play you've ever witnessed is announced the same as the no gain on first and ten, in the first quarter of a pre-season game LOL

He shows NO emotion yet his voice is perfect...

I don't know if the issue is acting, if the writing is suspect, etc. but those things factor in also. Most of the guys that do play by play aren't bad in real life, or are actually good. But if they don't get into it for the game, it doesn't make a difference who calls it. Although the guy doing play-by-pay for the game now is on a whole 'nother level of bad
