Delay of game is NOT an accept or deline penalty

I'm not sure why the developers who are footballs fans don't realize that when there is a delay of game penalty for running out the play clock, that is an automatic penalty, you should not have the option of accepting or declining that penalty, again that's another aspect that Madden on the PS2 had already figured out but somehow they forgot that rule in the next gen systems, unless I'm wrong about that than I'll eat my words, but I think I'm right.

i think you right. madden is madden but not a nfl simulation and this is another reason why i say that

Yeah i saw this in NCAA and i was like wtf?? I was hoping it wasnt in Madden too...not a big deal at all for me, just stupid.

You are incorrect sir. I have seen teams decline a delay of game penalty because the team that took the delay did it on purpose to give the punter more room to punt (if they are inside midfield). Then the defense declined the penalty to make it more difficult for the punter to keep it in the field of play. So, Madden has it right- and you are misinformed.
