also changed directions twice and broke a tackle
I don't think so man. He got a running start and the timing is :22 secs when he crosses the 40yd line and then he crosses the GL at about :27 so that's about a 5 sec 40 with a running start.

LOL FAIL

I am playing it on Normal and it seems right most of the time. I am still a little undecided which is more authentic feeling, but I won't go higher than Normal, because I doubt that online play will ever be higher than Normal.

LOL I just timed it myself. Starting at the 43 yard line it took him 5.5 seconds. Now he made or cut or two but this about the same result I got timing Lito Sheppard on a 100 yard INT return vs dallas with a head start. Slow speed FTW!

Re: Speed settings tested in Practice Mode

they timed him (unofficially) on ESPN. If i could find the clip id show you guys.

why would i make that up. you can time it on the video or even by counting in your head.

Re: Speed settings tested in Practice Mode

I unofficially timed him and got 5.5 pretty easily. It's not rocket science. Start at the 43 yard line, start the timer, end the timer when he crosses the goal line. Unless the video on youtube is somehow slower than the broadcast it's 5.3 to 5.5 seconds.

You can't count in your head, you need a stopwatch, so I used my iphone.

I got the same results as you, counting as I watched the vid. About 5.2 or 5.3 secs.
What do you make of this vid? CJ at about 5 secs. But, actually closer to 4.9, because he slowed up at the end. So, does that mean that Normal speed is the most accurate? What do you think?

Like you said he did slow down at the end, and he did a little zig zagging as well.

Look, there is NO DOUBT that he does not run a 4.24 in full equipment. My only question is did Tiburon, the poster childs for ignoring physics, take this into account or not?
