INJURIES/IR/PROGRESSION

I have to say after playing 5 games with injuries occuring in every game they always seem to get better/un injured in 2-3 plays.the strange thing is i had brandon jacobs injured,they said he's out for the rest of the game the he was healed & back playing in 3 plays....as for progression i don't know since i have'nt gotten that far.

No, I dont think that is accurate. It actually did work for Madden 07 (PS2). I skipped a season with the Bills and T.O. got hurt for 6 weeks, but IR'd him to see if it works. Not only did it work, but I also recouped what he was earning so I signed another WR. I dont know why it doesnt work on next gen though. It would be hard to play a season if 4-5 of your players get hurt and can't replace them.

Wait...so when Brandon Jacobs got hurt it came up with the window whether or not to play him based on the risk. What did you decide?

Umm bro this is has been a problem for longest time. But I am use to it. If I was to have to free up a spot to sign some one. I would go to my deepest postion the team and release the least used guy. Sidenote the injury system is fine this year and depending on the severity of the injury. If he get a broken collar bone then he is out for the season. But if he gets broke hand. He could be out up to 6 weeks.
