I wish they made it impossible to trade free agents you just signed. I have absolutely no self control concerning that, sorry Plaxico lol.

Im sure they can patch something like that.

That's no guarantee either. Prior to Week 6 of my offline franchise, I decided to go in and re-sign all the players with expiring contracts who I knew I wanted back. CB Terrence McGee wouldn't re-sign with me, no matter how much money I threw at him. Luckily I did this prior to the trade deadline, so I sent him to the Niners for RT Marvel Smith.

Oooh. This is really good news. A lot of the little things keep adding up to a great experience this year.

I always thought FA could be a cheap (not inexpensive though) way to boost your team immediately, so I typically stayed away from it to an extent. This development is a welcome addition.

Should I thank Josh Looman?

Do the players give reasons for why they will not sign? I hated that 09 junk with the one generic more money comment. It would be great to see more of an RPG approach to FA in the near future.

That's awesome. I guess I might actually have use for the franchise tag now.

Sorta, yeah. The little text box pops up with the agent saying, "My client has no interest in returning to your organization." I'm paraphrasing there. Can't remember exactly what they say.
