You mean the almost pass d that doesn't exist? Nah...that might be a little harsh, but seriously though...the crossing patters over the middle are ENTIRELY too easy to complete and WAY to tough to defend.

I'm all for a competitive game, but some of this feel very much unfair.

like i said, he should have backpedaled. so he didn't do exactly what happens in real life. well it's not real life. it's a videogame.

I think the Pass D is on point...trust me there are other games where in Man coverage the DB's just stand there and let the Wr run right across his face.....Ive been playin on All-pro...no problems.The coverage is tight but its not unbeatable.

madden 10 is madden 09 with greate graphic and broken pro tak. where is procedure awearness, were is the route base passes.
madden 09 have a realitic man coverage, but 90mph passes, lack of route bass pass and recievers catch the ball with turning ther head to look for the ball makes the man coverage look like crap.

The thing I noticed from Apex's video was (other than the psychic LB) when the WR made his cut, there was a momemtum animation (momemtum may be the wrong word), but you could see his body shift into the cut where the LB just basically turned on a dime. It's just probably nitpicking on my part. If this is a once in a while type thing I can live with it.

I don't have the game yet (have to wait till Friday), so I will judge the game then. I am very excited for this year's version as overall it looks to be a huge improvement over 09, which I had to push myself to get through one season with. I'm already bored with NCAA, so hopefully Madden will be just good enough to keep me playing for a while.

Not going to lie. I never noticed that problem, in detail, until I watched that video. That's very disturbing, and needs to be fixed. Is it a game killer? No, of course not. But it could use a tweak.

Like I've been saying, I'm OK with the final product. It's going to have it's problems, and I'm still going to have fun with it. What I'm not OK with is EA sending out one meaningless patch. I expect 3 or 4 thorough, well scripted, patches.
