Is this true?? I do not have the game yet, but a lot of people are saying that in the back of the instruction manual you have to pay if you want to play more than a 5 yr franchise. Is this true??

False and wrong bro. Once you enter that code on the back. You can play any much franchise online as you want. You do not have to pay for online franchise so long as your have that code.
