No Progression in Throwing Power and Accuracy in young QB's?

When I buy madden I always sim seasons to see how the sim stats and progression come out. Well I noticed that QB's throwing power and accuracy never increases. It decreases but I have not encountered any increases. I even drafted a young QB with average accuracy and started him the whole season but no progression in those ratings. I checked the whole league each season I simmed and there was only regression in those ratings. Is anyone else noticing this? If this is a problem then how will young QB's get better? Let me know if you guys have this same problem.

This would pretty much ruin franchise mode for me.

If this is a problem this MUST be patched or offline franchise would be worthless to me.

If this is true:

Man why is it every year Madden just HAS problems.

I mean don't the EA guys play offline franchise? There is no excuse for this making onto the disk.

throwing power may not go up because of the same reason speed doesnt go up, this is just a guess though, and the throwing accuracy stat means nothing according to Ian in some other threads...the ones you have to worry about are the short accuracy, med accuracy and long accuracy...now if those three are not going up at all then we have a problem

I just went and simmed one season. The existing players did progress in Throwing power and accuracy.

Where you talking about draft class players?

If Yes, the premade ones or imported draft class?

I dont want QB's arm strength to progress. Accuracy is on the fense. Players dont get too much better phyiscally the advancements are more mental at the pro level.

You know I do need to check and make sure the +'s I am seeing are coaching bonuses.

Progression is rather confusing. It doesn't have its own screen or anything. So, it is possible it doesn't actually put the progression in (). If that is the case then the only way to check progression is by knowing what the players rating where before the end of the season, which would be completely idiotic.

I disagree, I feel a gain of 2-3 points throughout a career is reasonable. There are a lot better trainers at the NFL level and I believe some QBs actually become capable of throwing the ball a little farther.
